It's a lot more than $5.00 per Imperial gallon!! It's about $2.00/ltr Can.
There are about 4.5 ltrs in a Imp. gallon so that's about $9.00 gallon. Our dillusional PM has brought in carbon taxes and fuel conservation taxes (actually a second carbon tax) and it goes up yearly. Consider we have huge oil reserves and supply the US with 50% of their oil we get no breaks in Canada. I am in Florida untill the snow melts. The gas prices here today are about $4.00 a US gallon (about 3.9 litres). The worst is heating our homes with natural gas which is 80% of all households. These taxes are applied to this as well.
