I ran a search and couldn’t find much on common rear axles used for swapping out the banjo rear end. My banjo is leaking pretty bad so time for an upgrade.
Side question, can the rear wishbone be used on the newer axle? I’m not really interested in running parralle leafs. Thanks! |

Your rear wishbones will only bolt-up to '35 and '36 axle bells. DD |

I apologies, I should have been more clear. I’m looking to swap in someone more modern like a Ford Explorer rear end or something easily available at the junk yard.

Check on the H.A.M.B., you’ll find alit more info. Although I believe an early 9” from 57-59 will fit under the fenders, but hardly a bolt on job.
