KULTULZ,

Ford did it with direct linkage (both open at the same time) at first in '56 and '57 with dual plane manifolds. Later on (427's) they did it progressive with dual plane manifolds. I guess you can assume either works. Also the single plane setup Kanuna mentioned with direct linkage seems to work very well. If I had a preference, I would say direct linkage may offer better air/fuel distribution overall. Just my thoughts.
