Default Extra A Engine!

I found a gentleman on Craigslist that was selling parts off of a 29 Sport Coupe that he is turning into a hot rod. Really nice guy, and long story short, I ended up getting the original engine and transmission from the car, as well as the rumble seat. It feels nice to have an extra engine now! [emoji2]

Have you heard it run, and do you know any history on it?

The only engines I heard run before buying them were the two most expensive engines I bought and they sounded great. Turns out neither one was so great after I got into them. Hope you have better luck with your's, but you are right, that it is nice to have a spare engine.

It is nice to be able to go through an engine, get it in tip top shape BEFORE you need it.

That's what I'm planning on doing, working on it as I get time so it will be ready to drop in when the day comes.

I didn't hear it run, but only paid 100 bucks for engine and tranny, so I'm not worried at all.

I agree, at that price you can't loose.
I've bought a few engines for that price also, and I bought them because they looked like they had run fairly recently and may have been pulled for a rodding project.
