Extra A Engine! I found a gentleman on Craigslist that was selling parts off of a 29 Sport Coupe that he is turning into a hot rod. Really nice guy, and long story short, I ended up getting the original engine and transmission from the car, as well as the rumble seat. It feels nice to have an extra engine now! [emoji2]

Re: Extra A Engine! Have you heard it run, and do you know any history on it?
The only engines I heard run before buying them were the two most expensive engines I bought and they sounded great. Turns out neither one was so great after I got into them. Hope you have better luck with your's, but you are right, that it is nice to have a spare engine. |
Re: Extra A Engine! It is nice to be able to go through an engine, get it in tip top shape BEFORE you need it.

I didn't hear it run, but only paid 100 bucks for engine and tranny, so I'm not worried at all. Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk |

Re: Extra A Engine! I agree, at that price you can't loose.
I've bought a few engines for that price also, and I bought them because they looked like they had run fairly recently and may have been pulled for a rodding project. |
Re: Extra A Engine! Was he selling the rims? Do you have a contact for him? Thanks Bob
