Default Re: 1941 Pickup Drive Train

Where are my manners? Welcome to the Fordbarn! A place full of good information and diverse opinions and passions. Here's some: replace the "stuck" motor with a known runner. That's what I'm doing on my 41.

The expense and labor of a simple engine swap and radiator check versus a full blown drivetrain replacement has led to many a burn out, and an unfinished project for sale. That's what happened for me. I have ALL the pieces for the 350/350, 9 inch swap, but I guess my old age nostalgia longings won out. A flattie it is.

But, it's your truck. Time to do some parts math and check your abilities. Post a pic of the new member of the family.
