we can only wish we had equipment like that....or access to someone who knew how to install it on an A

do I see some custom brackets going on there ?

deep dish wheel extenders that rest on the spokes so the heads clear the hub caps.

adjustable arms to grab the tires...

I'd guess that's a little more precise than my two yardsticks clamped together...

I set it as best I could with a dubbie Gauge then put it on the rack.. It was approx a 1/4" toed out..
All steering & suspension compnents are tight...

Mitch, how much does spoke orientation matter on your set-up? Also, how much would a spoke need to be bent to affect a reading??

Nothing will affect the reading

You do a forward rolling compensation which is approx 4-6" onto the front turntables. That calculates any issues ,,bent wheels etc,,etc.. And compensates for it automatically. The heads do not even need to be centered on the wheels as that is compensated for also..just slap them on and clamp it to the tire treads
