Don, why not attend one of this years EFV-8 Club meets and spend some time looking at the colors of all the 36's you can find. Maybe one will really jump out at you and you could get details on the paint used on that particular car. What was the original color of your car? I know what color my coupes will be when, or if, I ever get them on the road. They were both originally black as Henry made them, and that's how they will stay as long as I own them. My next favorite original Ford color is Dearborn Blue used in 34 and 35, but Washington Blue used in 36 wasn't that bad either IMO.
