I got hacked just like you, called FBI and they said they could not do anything, But they wanted to know about it. also told me it was probably Russian connection and to get the Russian version of kapersky

My son is an IT security guy, and he says Kaspersky "appears" to have some back-doors intentionally inserted in its code. The purpose can't be known but his organization won't allow any computer that has ever had Kaspersky installed onto their network. He says Microsoft Defender is as good as any program you can buy, and it's free.
