It was snowing hard during the auction. Lots of the parts went for giveaway prices.

At the Iowa Gas petroliana auction in August they charge a buyer's fee plus Ia. state sales tax. Haven't been back there in almost 15 years won't waste my time. Local auctioneer that goes to our church told me that Illinois proposed a sales tax a number of years ago for items sold at auction and that went down in a big ball of flame, crashed and burned. Never brought up again.At least that was one good thing that came out of Springfield ![]() |
