Horses were such a necessary thing for transportation, plowing, pulling, etc, thus the justification of HANGING, of the HORSE THIEVES!
A CAR/TRUCK is the second most EXPENSIVE/IMPORTANT purchase we normally make, SO WHY NOT HANG CAR/TRUCK THIEVES, also? It only hurts for a NANO-SECOND!

I firmly believe that if the State is to execute in my name, I should be allowed to witness said execution.

History note:
An estimated 15,000–20,000 people showed up for what would be the last public execution in the United States.
Around 5:20 a.m., August 14, 1936, Rainey Bethea was led to the gallows in Owensboro, Kentucky for robbing, raping and murdering Lischia Edwards, a 70 year old woman.

My, aren't we a little dark today.

Yes, Burner, we're a little DARK today, BUT there's nothing DARKER than some crimes that are committed!
If the punishments matched the crimes, hopefully, there would be LESS CRIME.
I personally feel that our "entertainment" media sometimes goes overboard, in "instructing" folks how to commit crimes & tend to sometimes GLORIFY them! "ANYTHING FOR THAT EVERLOVIN' BUCK"

Sadly, I have to agree with you Bill.
How I miss the enjoyment of life without computers, cell phones and smut and violence laden TV and movies.
(On a side note I must admit I do love the computers for info search, buying parts and sharing thoughts...such as this.)

and bill, since the model t had (i believe) 20 horsepower, it's equivalent to stealing 20 horses! So a 20' rope over a cliff is in order.
