T stolen in Houston

I posted this on the T Forum but wanted to get it to as many people as possible. I am guessing they took it for the truck and trailer.

How very sad! I do hope it turns up safe, and the thieves apprehended.

A model T is not something that you can quickly hock down at the pawn shop, they most likely wanted the trailer, when they find what's inside they will dump it and keep the trailer.
I just hope they don't trash the car for GP's.
Hoping you get it back.

Given that the Model T is really a horseless carriage we all know what they did to horse thieves.

Bill in 1993 I was in Malaysia for 2 weeks working and when I landed to ‎Kuala Lumpur they handed all passengers a note card which was like this:

On Friday, they had public hangings from a large wall over looking the prison... No I did not care to see that...

Just a thought... Maybe you should post a picture of the Truck and Trailer and more info (License # ??) along with what was inside the trailer? Maybe someone has seen it or will see it?

Good ending here. I recently bought a new car trailer and I painted, in big bright letters, my name, phone #, and license plate # of the trailer on the roof. It could be spotted from the air by law enforcement.

Yesterday when I first read this thread that's exactly what I was thinking a person should do.:)

I was only wondering if the law would put any planes into flight for a theft.

Hi Richard,
I am pleased that you found your truck and your boy's trailer. I hope and trust that you will find it in good order and not tampered with.

Alas, I kinda doubt the authorities would do that. putting planes/helicopters into the air has to be an expensive proposition for both maintenance and personnel. to be honest, there is so much theft that goes on in this society that cops can't and don't regard it as a high priority, especially after they learn there is insurance involved.

Horses were such a necessary thing for transportation, plowing, pulling, etc, thus the justification of HANGING, of the HORSE THIEVES!
A CAR/TRUCK is the second most EXPENSIVE/IMPORTANT purchase we normally make, SO WHY NOT HANG CAR/TRUCK THIEVES, also? It only hurts for a NANO-SECOND!
