What is that panel called that mounts below the rear of the body and between the rear fender on the 1928 and 1929 Fordors? Looks to me like its a filler panel. Also, where could a fella go to procure one?

Are the rear valance panels different between Briggs and Murray bodies?

The back splash pans, or rear valance panels, are pretty much different for each body style. The ones I know are:
1929-30 Briggs fordor. 1929-30 Murray fordor. 1930-31 Victoria. 1931 Slant windshield fordor. 1931 A-400. 1930-31 Deluxe (2-door) phaeton. I have attached photos of our fiberglass replacement ones. |
