Sorry you have to slander the lady you talked to about your order. Brockmans are one of the highest quality custom made mufflers available, made by a well known family run business. Is it such a big deal to purchase reducers to mate your pipes? You need another hobby. Seriously!

Same to you V8 Bob. I ask for the 1 3/4" inlet/outlet & she said they do not make them as they cannot get the tubing. I wanted the sound so I was willing to buy the adapters. I paid plenty for two mufflers why should I have to buy adapters to make them work when I now find out they make the size I ask for. I DID NOT ASK FOR YOUR ADVICE EITHER. THIS IS STILL THE USA where we practice freedom of speech. Further more I never said anything about the quality or the performance. If you have any problems use the PM button & I will respond accordingly. Have great evening. Take a happy pill.

I went to a Chinese resturant and wanted a Big Mac. They said they dont make them. Last time I will go to that Chinese resturant.

Yo could have taken your pipes to a muffler shop and had the ends expanded to fit.

Skidmarks sure could have & just what do you think the muffler shop would charge?? The adapters were less & that is not the problem. Read my post again. I could have gone with many other options, straight pipes, smittys, redhots, even gutted stock mufflers also hell I could have even sold or gave the car away.BTW next time try chinese from McDonalds.
JFYI I have a pipe expander.

Nothing like a pissin match. Just like back in the day. fyi. I used a set of muffler shop steel packs I think could have ben glass packs ? [ I think about 25 bucks each] they are welded heavy steel. Sound good with the finton cast headers. Ben on for over

15 years now look good yet.Just my 2 cents worth BOB has a good point. and besides that it really was his dime.

I actually have Cherry Bombs on my truck now and they arent really very loud but they have a great sound. I love it when I run under a bridge or overpass and can hear the flathead running. I had Smthy's at first and these are just a little louder. They also fit between the frame better as their short ones are an inche or two shorter than the Smithy's short muffler. They were cheap too, something like $22 each.

Well, I got my stainless Porters installed this week on my 39 and I really love their sound! Nice low note at idle and the great flathead burble/rap while going through the gears. The Smithy's on my 51 sounded great to begin with but over time got too loud, hope the Porters don't change as much over time, we'll see how it goes.

You fellas can't give opinions without bagging on others? Don't expect to have accounts long.
