Before you install any type of roll bar/cage, check with your insurance company. They might not insure it because it'll be considered a racecar in their eyes.

Ignition coil can short out when hot, not sure if there is a way to test it.

Could help avoid valve float if some springs have been sitting compressed while others without compression. Could always check each springs compression rate if the gage is available. For me, it's...

Since taking it apart, I'd spend the extra 10 bucks and toss new valve springs in there. Enjoy!

This is a great reminder for me to tighten those clamps up. Passenger side glass landed on the running board during my 1st drive with the Roadster. Glad your "new" wings are working out.

Did the AA's have the same 40hp engine in them? I imagine the gearing would have to be adjusted for hills if towing much weight around with the standard 201ci engine.

Maybe the float in carb? Is okay in one direction but not the other has me thinking the float might be opening and closing the needle and seat if it's happening when the car is moving.
