Geez mine is just mounted on the firewall as a priming pump , Ive had no problems with it .

Oil also migrates from the open bearing at the back of the trans. If a uni runs completely dry the chances are the oil baffle is hard up against the bearing in the trans. I check this when...

WANTED; floating flanged bearings size....

Im chasing a set of floating flanged rod bearings [full set] either .020 or .030 and standard on the rod.

Conrod spec for floating bearings/ finish

Just a quick one guys the torque spec for a 37 engine with floating flanged bearings [pretty sure it 40 lbs of the top of my head] Also the type of finish that should be on the rods after sizing...

The only thing is they are small diameter Brian . they would be about 700mm compared to 800mm ..
Maybe I could reband the rims to suit a bigger radial tyre and still be in front? Damn I had some...

Just got a quote to replace my 7.50 x 16 Firestone blackwalls on the rear ... $992 AUD . Yup thats two tyres...and doesn't include fitting :eek:

Yes its just the last bit thats hollow in the pin. All I did was have a solid piece of steel on the other side and peened it over with a ball peen hammer. But you have to be careful not to hit it too...

Just put gaffa tape around the outside of the assembly so it doesn't come apart, bolt it all up and then peel tape off. Usually I have no problems, I remember putting on a standard pan on the pilot...

Its all I do. Also there is an advantage of having the larger hole, you can stick your finger in there for a good feel around.

Yes, use semi fluid grease in an oil can to do it.
