Re: Rear main leak
Thank you very much for the replies. Thursday I dropped the pan and everything was just where it was supposed to be. Better safe than sorry. But the rear pan gasket looked suspicious so Friday I...

Re: Rear main leak

Thanks...

Re: Mitchell Overdrive
The easiest way is using Mitchell's driveshaft/pinion puller. Used it on the last two jobs, it works perfectly and no rear end disassembly.

Re: 31 Five Window Coupe Too Small
Did this a couple of years back. I'm 6' and 240 lbs, so I was having difficulty getting in my 1931 RPU. I installed a 15" 1940 steering wheel from Roadster Supply. Made quite a difference. The...

Re: Building a 28-29 Closed cab extended pickup???

Re: T5 vs AX 5 or AX15
So am I. If you have the Mitchell puller for the drive shaft, you don't need to remove the axles and I never did. Must have been a brain fart. I will review and revise.
Thanks

Re: T5 vs AX 5 or AX15
The T5 has its' limitations, especially in a rock crawler Jeep or high horse power S10, but behind a 4 cylinder banger, you will never hurt it. The main reason for putting a T5 in is for the O/D and...

Re: T5 vs AX 5 or AX15
The Jeep are much harder to find although I prefer the Jeep since it is shorter. Vintage metalworks now makes an adaptor for the Jeep. Kato King used to make a really nice adaptor as well but I...
