I replaced the capacitor with a 5 dollar one matching the proper specs and it works like a charm. Thanks for all the good advice!

Gas tank capacity, 39 pickup

I have read the capacity for this truck is 18, 16 or 14 gallons depending on the source. Does anyone know for sure the correct size on a standard 39 pickup? Thanks!

I had a thread earlier about how my dual horns quit, and it turned out the capacitor was dead in the driver's side horn.. Pictured is the capacitor about 3 inches long and 1/2 inch thick, no markings...

On the 29 Model A I have a reoccurring problem. There is no fire at the points. Wires are clean, grounds are good, coil is hot, condenser is good. Yet last night it ran great, this morning no fire...
