Default 1936 Horn problems

My 36 deluxe 3 window coupe horns quit, but if you press the horn button, the horn on the passenger side goes "ugh." I cleaned and adjusted the points and the passenger side works now. The drivers side after cleaning and adjusting still does nothing. If you short out the drivers side, the passenger side blows but not the drivers side. What am I missing?

May be a broken wire or poor electrical connection on the RH horn.

Wiring checks out. What about the capacitor? Any specs on that?

If you remove one of the wires check the two horn terminals for resistance there should be some of a low value. If open circuit clean the contacts and start with them adjusted closed. The capacitor is there to minimize arcing across the contacts, they are usually good. The Y wire is battery -, the blue & yellow is ground +, when the horn button is depressed. so check for voltage on the two wires at the horn. There may be a brake in the wiring most likely where wires connect together.
