The mechanic that rebuilt my flathead put sealant on the block side only to facilitate easier removal of the pan if necessary.

It looks to me to be off a small block Ford V8 from the 1980-1990s timeframe that had direct fuel injection into the intake ports. Definitely not from the Flathead era.:)

Why don’t you just calculate the difference? All you need is the tire diameter or revs/mile, the overdrive ratio and the rear axle ratio, which you already told us. Let us know if you need help...
