Re: Adjusting timing

Gene, I like the idea of a harmonic balancer, but of course I have no proof that my engine will live longer. It does seem to run smoother? My engine was balanced when rebuilt, but I don't have...

Re: 1931 Tudor Phaeton

Re: Cleaning the radiator

Davey, I wish we had known others that were at the "Spring Opener". Four couples from our club made the trek to Clear Lake. We had a great time visiting the surrounding area. We decided to take our...

Re: Cast fuel bowl leaking- round two

I once had a leak in that location I could not stop weeping.

As an alternative to buying a new gas line or sediment bowl, I used a brass flare gasket. No problems since... just incase your problem...

Re: Which Side Mirror?

JayJay, my bad. Since you gave a Snyder's part # (A-17741-A), I didn't think to look on Bratton's (#24200).

Re: help! clutch won‘t disengage…

Common problem for the clutch arm to break. I had to drive home in second gear. Stop signs were not fun, luckily my car is 12v and I can start the engine while in gear.

I replaced mine with one...

Re: Tie rod and drag link question ?

I remember MAC's had Teflon Seats impregnated with Bronze. I never tried them, I never had an issue with the teflon ones.

Re: Did a 1929 Ford station wagon in California use passenger or commercial license p

I don't know how it works nowadays but I had a Ford E-100 (½ ton) Econoline Van that had car plates. Car plates/registration was (are??) much cheaper than Commercial Plates.

Re: A perplexing oiling problem - A new one to me!
