Re: Spindle pin bore
to get a smooth final fit on a job like this would be to use "time savor" product.
its like valve lapping compound, but less aggressive, and does not leave any residue to keep grinding bits when...

Re: 276 stroker from 35 years of parts

Re: Do I fit in
A couple old junk yards I knew of years ago stored some of the old engines up side down to preserve them in outside storage. this makes the oil pan into a roof, and hopefully saves the motor. Good...

Re: 276 stroker from 35 years of parts
Running the lathe is similar to when you make that exactly perfect within a 64th square cut for some wood cabinet project that fits perfect and gives you a smile. You will have the same smile when...

Re: Early Ford juice brake question.
Are you talking about the grease catch cans? Early are round, after about 37? they are square. And, your backing plates appear to be 39-41, or at least 39 and up as they are hydraulic. Got nuts...

Re: Model B Ford 4 cylinder identification
I always found B transmissions are hard to find. you could get one of Klings adaptors to hook a v8 transmission to an A or B motor and then use any v8 trans you find. Much more common I believe.
