No clip in the picture. Mine broke.
I took the advice of 19forty from post 19 and got some banding from one of my jobs and made it.
Its on now.

My spring is 6" long.
This picture show 4 3/4" of spring.
How much should be exposed? It feels like it will work fine at this location,

the spring works as it is right now, but you guys have made me do more research and now i see it not correct.
