1928-29 front bumber brackets
Can you tell me from the pictures if I have the right front bumber barckets for a 1928?

Yes, they are original '28-29 brackets but have been bent somewhat from collision damage.

The bumper attaches at the clamp just at the point where it [ the bumper bar] starts to curve in. The brackets therefore appear to slightly curve back.
Your brackets appear original,bearing the C stamp; mine have a D. |

I can't be sure but believe this example is bent but only slightly. It must be perfectly straight coming out from the frame. The outer end looks to me like it should be 1/4"-3/8" closer to the center of the car. I could be wrong but it at least gives you an idea.

I also measured the brackets and a straight line from one end to the other end of the bracket is 18". |
