Are the early 28 spindles any different from the later spindles? I was thinking about later, maybe 1929 brakes on my early 28 spindles if they would bolt up. Just curious thinking while the turkey is cooking..

Early 28 spindles have a full circle mounting flange for the backing plate, where the later ones have 2 flat sides.
