Re: My new barn find
Air up the tires, oil and grease the moving parts, check the brakes and have fun driving it!
Sure looks like one that should be left as is. |

Re: My new barn find
Great truck! You'll have a ball driving it. Hope you're not too tall though. I will never regret just getting my old truck "going" and leaving most unrestored. Someone put 16" wires on it during the war, I'm leaving them on.

Nice truck. Looks like if you did what Tom W suggested you'd have a lot of fun. What are your plans?

Re: My new barn find
There is nothing like a good old jalopy. I agree drive it. Nice find.
My Model A restored years ago and is pretty nice, now I gotta keep it nice. My Model T is a jalopy. No worries. |

had it about 3 weeks.Got the body off, chassie sandblasted and painted, changed the clutch disk and pilot bearing.Motor is back in and painted. It started and ran when I got it home so leaving motor alone for now.Supposely the guy had it since 1971.Never did any body work before quess I'll learn.
