Default Photograph wanted of how dipped fenders were hung

There has to be one out there and I can't find it. When Model A front fenders were painted at the factory, they were dipped and hung. I'd like to see how they had them oriented when hanging. If anyone could provide a photo, link to a video, or whatever, I'd enjoy seeing it. Thanks!

They were hung off the back edge on the flange that mounts to the running board.

By 1931 they even made a larger hole to make mounting easier. I think it is Marco that posts the factory photo of the parts hanging on the dip line.

What else is on that rack? Something is hanging between the sets of fenders (and I'm not referring to the radiator apron)...

The tank was full of water, and had a layer of paint floating on top. The conveyor moved very slowly forward and down, dipping the part slowly into the paint, then very slowly back up and out. The result was very good. Try it some time with a small part. I have done it, and it is amazing.

I was wondering the same thing about what is hanging from the rack? It looks like a whole lot of nuts and bolts hanging together.

I know. I have a NOS front fender for my '34, which has a run on the underside, but the top is pristine.

Same with "A" fenders to varying degrees. Ford was great at controlling the run-off.

this is off-topic but when I see pics of the vast production facilities of this Company, let alone things we don't see like the engineering staff, the pattern-makers, etc., and all of this to produce a modest-price car with a layer of profit to both manufacturer and retailer, I just wonder how the economic structure of the country was so different back then as to facilitate it all.

interesting to note that the runs are the opposite direction from the direction the fenders are hung coming out of the drying ovens...

People had jobs in the US instead of robots. Buying power of the employee's was recognized more than the buying power of stockholders.
