My 39 panel truck didn't have welting between the rear fenders and the body. Is that correct? If not, are there any tricks to installing welting on the fenders before I install them?

I used welting, black, keeps the paint in better shape, You would go a lot better with a helper and an exacto knife, I tried pre holing it, that was not fun. Are you that far along that your'e putting her back together?
