Converting back from Rumble seat to Trunk
How dificult is it to convert back from Rumble seat to Trunk?
Can I just turn the Decklid? Thanks Joop |

Just to get you started. change the hinges. move the handle weld up the old hole. drill a new one. change the curved inner panel . that will keep you busy for a few days

Yes, not too difficult. I have just done it to my coupe. You will see it in the fall.

You also need to change the curved rear pannel to one for a trunk. I did the oposite when I change my car from a trunk to a rumble. The Les Andrews Model A mechanic Vol II has everything including the parts list. If you can, borrow or buy a copy. Not a hard job at all though.

Are these inner panels 1928-29? They don't line up with any holes on a 30-31 subrail crossmember. not one has dimples the other doesn't
