Up for sale is a '54 Ford 239 Y-Block. I purchased it from a guy who bought a restored '54 Ford convertible and street rodded it. The car had about 8,000 miles on it since the restoration, the engine was rebuilt at the same time. When I got it home, I pulled the pan, valley cover, and heads to check it all out and make sure it was good to go and it looked great. There was no sludge or build up anywhere. All new Fel-Pro gaskets were installed (heads, valve covers, valley pan, water pump, oil pan, intake manifold), engine completely detailed, new fuel pump, freeze plugs, drain plugs, spark plugs, oil filter, chrome valve covers, and a '54 Merc 4bbl manifold was added with an adapter added for use with any modern style carb. This engine is ready to go, the only thing it needs is an oil pump as it was misplaced during our move and I have yet to find it. I'm asking $450 for it, but will consider trades for old speed equipment, '32 Ford parts, early Stewart Warner gauges, ???
