Default Lucas Distributor II

Yesterday i bought a Lucas distributor at a Swapmeet, This is the first one ive seen with both mechanical and Vacum advance, I gave a couple with only mechanical. I guess its for a Ford Pilot, and they are not common here in Sweden.

This one have eight lobes, the Mechanical only have four lobes and can take a lot of revs, and i mean a lot :-)

Anyway here is the pics if you are interrested in parts from the man that invented the "sudden, unexpected darkness" :-) Joseph Lucas.

This is the ring that is missing, but i think i can take one from a US crab distributor.

I think it was made month 4 in 1952
