Default `32 5w Coupe found

Just wanted to show that they are still hiding and waiting out there.

Thought I would share some pics.

Story goes a buddy bought a house and this was in the rear garage and the owner needed to sell to give up the storage to the new house purchaser. I was the lucky one that got the call.
I was looking for a `32 - `34 traditional hotrod project and this is a lot more than I needed but couldn`t walk away.
It is now safely tucked in the garage and I`m a happy guy.
More to come.

Bart78, I know how you feel.

I have hopes of finding my `33 some day. That`s my favorite. Hope you can stay on it and be successful.
Took this to a local cruise in yesterday and I don`t think people realized what it was. Most you see are hotrods. Had a couple ask me how my Model A ran and drove.

I go to church with the old mans son that has the 34. His son told me his dad said he will never do anything with the car but he will never sale it allso. My uncle told me he would not sale it when he was younger and that has been over allmost 40 years sence he first asked about it. He allso has a few other neet cars. I know this is a ford sight but he allso has a 55 nomad. Been there ever sence I can remember.

That kills me. Let someone finish and enjoy it. Doesn`t make sense if you leave `em sit.

I ran across another `32 3-window yesterday with a bad chop but the guy won`t part with it until his buddy gets off another coupe that he`s sitting on. Makes me scream...

His son said the car will be for sale one day, all of them will be. He said he does not want them at all and they scould go to people that will take care of them. I allso know where there are about 100 or so pre 40's fords but the old guy wont part with them. His kids have said they will. This place is awsome every thing you can think of is there.

Great looking car! Looks like it is set up to drive and tour with. I can just imagine the butchers that would love to CHOP, CUT, put a garbage truck engine in, splash ugly neon paint on, replace the wires with downtown alumn wheels and think they have a jewel.

It has juice brakes, 12 volt, tube shocks and `36 21 stud already. Runs and drives well.
The body has never been disassembled as far as I can tell. Original interior, top and running boards.
I`m probably leaving it alone. That`s not going to be easy for me to do.

Ken, regarding the 32 on AACA site, the poster is a daughter asking for help in determining the values of some cars her father left her. She doesn't yet give a number or location except the northeast corner of Pa.
The location may be near Tunkhannock, PA, as that is listed on the image posting site.

Not sure where you got that it was a daughter? "I am going to grab my wifes good camera and head over and see what I can do without moving the car. "

Cars like this are very rare considerning how many hotrodders are looking. That is one rare car and for the most unmolested and thats how I would keep it if it were mine. There are plenty of hotrods out there for sale if thats what one wants.

jim1932, I missed the camera comment- don't know why I assumed it was a daughter. ;^(

I was really just answering redneck's question as to Pa location.

I was at a cruise in last night and one of the guys said he had never seen a stock `32 coupe before. All of the others couldn`t remember seeing one either.

And it adds to the allure..... a barnfind Coupe and the poor clueless daughter has no idea what it is worth Just once I'd like to find that.... Then I'd probably be too honest to take advantage of it.....
