Position of Rumble step on fender
I'm about to install the rumble step of the fender of my 68-C. To my eye it looks like the step should be lined up with the center-line of the wheel and about 4.5 inches from the rear quarter panel to the center of the bolt hole. I would appreciate it if you guys could let me know if that's about right before I take the drill to it. Thanks

Re: Position of Rumble step on fender
LeRoy,
Thanks but I only have Volume 6. There is a good picture of the fender step on a 68-C on page 132. That's what I used for my eye ball guess. |

Brother A .....................
Put the fender on the car and make sure to mark the dead top. No matter what dimensions, people send you, if it's cockeyed, it's going to be cockeyed ! MIKE |

Re: Position of Rumble step on fender
Thanks Mike. I did exactly that. It's right in the center to my eye.
