Default 1935 Ford Mounting the Telescoping Part that Opens the Front Window

Newest project...mounting the part under the top middle of the dash that extends and opens and closes the front window. The dash is restored and mounted. Please don't tell me I need to remove the dash to put that part in. If so, remove it all the way? Is there a way to partially drop it and fit the part in?

It's called a window regulator.
You can install it without removing the dash but it's a PITA that way. Chance of damaging the dash is real.
