without going into it again... he was asked to put all his photographs into one thread instead of opening a new thread each and every time.

He was initiating about 1/4 of the posts…..
I think it was logical what Ryan asked him to do. I found most of his pics marginally interesting but others more so from the above posts
Guess he was just offended…

I always looked forward to see Dave Mellor's pics as well, and I liked the separate threads with the comments for just the posted pic.....But it is what it is I guess...

Dave last posted here in early April and hasn't logged into Fordbarn since early May. He's posting regularly on AACA

You're up early this morning, John...

Yes, Antique Automobile Club of America. They are set up differently than Ford Barn. They have separate Forums for each subject, like Pictures and Videos for example. https://forums.aaca.org/forum/108-photo-and-videos/

Yeah, had to get going. Day 2 of helping a club member install a new clutch, Mitchell tranny and Mitchell O/D. We got behind yesterday when I discovered he had juice brakes, and the master cylinder had to come out to drop the old tranny. To compound it, he had an old (non-working) Bendix O/D in the car that needed to come out also - controls and cable, electrical, and speedo cable. We got the major components in today but still need another day to finish. I'm getting too old to spend all day long on a concrete floor under a Model A.

I'm hearing you!! You friend is going to love the Mitchell Trans/O/D combo. I hope he ordered the trans with the 15% over 1st and 2nd. Really improves the jump from 2nd to 3rd.

Looks like he found another place to post a zillion photos - one at a time. I don't get it. Personally, I'm glad I don't have to sort through a bunch of pic posts just to see tech stuff. If I want to see random Model A pics, Google images has thousands of them.

What vehicle did a Bendix OD originally come in? Or,was it made as an aftermarket unit for the A? Never saw one,but that means nothing. Bendix made hundreds of different products,so no surprise they made an OD unit.

In an earlier post you stated "doesn’t affect me as I’ve never looked at one of them…not my bag!"

Yet you continue to have several comments in every recent thread about this situation. Ryan has dealt with it. He can ban me if he wants for stating this.
