Default ign switch

day before yesterday the spanish popout ign switch on my speedster craped out and i had a ride planned for today. i road a 76 harley for 29 years and would pickup a 3 position ign switch at any auto supply reasonably cheap if i remember. they would last a few years until the vibration got them. these switches had 3 screws on the back b+, ign, and acc. no one seems to carry this switch any more. i found a switch at napa that had studs on the back, one of which i had to cut short to keep it from hitting and shorting out. i found a switch on ebay or amazon listed as a model a replacement and looks like the switch i used to run my harley, but they are $60.00 + you can find all kinds of ign switches in the $20.00 range. the after market kit carried by some of the suppliers i think uses the switch i'm looking for. i've already cut back the cable and want just that compact universal switch. any ideas?

Larry, I think the switch you are looking for is a Borg Warner
CS99 on-off-on or CS98 on-off. There are some on epay now.

If all else fails put a toggle switch on it for the time being.
No one but you will know how to start it anyway.

thanks guys.... i finally found it on ebay for $20.00 + shipping. it is sold as a
universal motorcycle switch. i rode my old super glide for 29 years and used this same switch. this iiks like the one the "a" parts guys are selling at a higher price. i don't know why the auto parts don't sell this any more.
