Default Right Headlight Mounting

My coupe has a spacer for the mounting stud that is about the thickness of the horn bracket on the other side andhas some shallow serrations. I don't see it in the Parts Price List. Is it stock? It seems like a good idea.

Originals do not have any spacer as you have described. It is not necessary.

What would be the purpose of this item.

It makes both studs project the same under the nut. What difference that makes? Not much, unless it is stock. That is not looking too likely, though.
