I think this may be one of those "If you have to ask, the answer won't do you much good." situations.

Not sure what that is suppose to mean, just wanted to know if they were made the same for a couple years or if there were big differences in the year change Wanted to buy some spare parts for my 34 and seen a 35 chassis for sale , thought I might buy it if it was the same frame as a 34.
Thanks Thanks I will check westscotts |

Close if you squint, but way different if you open your eyes.

The 35 frame will do you no good for a 33-34 car. |

The wheelbases are the same 112" but the 35 is a little over 6-1/2 longer due the front axel and forward mounted spring that allowed the engine and transmission to be moved forward in the chassis thus giving more interior room. The body width was also 2-1/2 wider.

The 1935 frame was a new design even though it is similar to the 1933/34. The basic 1935 design was changed in small subtle changes for nearly each year up to 1940 and early 1941 for the commercial pickup. The basic shape was still there but there were changes to body mounts and bolt holes. Early changes to the front and rear drive train mounting plus the 1939 Deluxe and 40 models were changed for the front mountings due to the crankshaft mounted fan and new radiator. Wescott's has all the dimensions and lists the differences by year grouping on their drawings.
