I saw this pic quite a few years ago and if I remember correctly some one said it was Palisades Park in NJ. No confirmation

Correct, It is Palisades Amusement Park in Cliffside Park NJ, two blocks from where I grew up. I worked there during the summer months. The cars and trucks are the output from the Ford Motor Company Assembly Plant in Edgewater NJ. Not sure of the year. The plant used the parking lot (during the off season) as a staging area. My 1932 3W was built in the Edgewater plant. One ride on that Roller Coaster was enough.

Must be '46 or '47 based on the jailbar trucks.

Freddie Boom Boom Cannon had a hot record, "Last night I took a walk in the park, a swinging place called Palisades Park." I seem to recall that the park owners reminded the NY DJ's to play it often during the summer season.

It was a test track to see if you had the intestinal fortitude to ride it.
