There's a great book out a on the Gilmore Oil Company. They were in California, Oregon and Washington only. Tons of great photos in the book and well worth buying. The company sold out to General Petroleum(later became Mobil) in 1945.

It is, but I am more impressed with the tanker in the second post. In the thirties, the oil companies and especially the beer companies had some impressive rigs.

Anyone know what make the tanker is?

The Gilmore book I know of was produced by two members of RG # 10 in Portland, both now deceased. Newc
