There's a great book out a on the Gilmore Oil Company. They were in California, Oregon and Washington only. Tons of great photos in the book and well worth buying. The company sold out to General Petroleum(later became Mobil) in 1945.

It is, but I am more impressed with the tanker in the second post. In the thirties, the oil companies and especially the beer companies had some impressive rigs.

Anyone know what make the tanker is?

Well, the front bumper kinda reminds me of a Brewster, but I don't think that's it.

That sure looks like neon tubes outlining the name on the side of the tanker.
