Can't speak to the V8 Times, but our military association magazine went out and goes to various bulk USPS facilities depending on their final destination. It's all over the board when the magazines arrive with no rhyme or reason as to the locations. Furthest away sometimes gets it quicker than the near by states.

From previous discussions about late USPS delivery, seems like most delays are down at the local level. Local post office, or even your local delivery route.

I've inquired to the club & printer with them saying it's the usps fault. I rejoined 2 months ago & never got a roster, magazine or any reconition of anything. Was told by the printer 3 weeks ago that my magazine was on the way. NOT !! I did get an email from the pres. of the club & 2 other emails all blaming the usps. I never got Jan/Feb. Who knows......

mfirth - I verified that your V-8 Times magazine with your address card was included in those delivered to the USPS, so yes, it is "in the mail". Many other car clubs and most magazines are having the same issues with the USPS. I sure wish there was something we could do to expedite the delivery.

As an EFV8 Club member, the digital version is available to you for free so you can look at the magazine on a computer while you wait for the paper copy to arrive. The March-April issue went on-line today.

I am having a heck of a time with the USPS as well. The regular delivery person is great. The subs? Not good. But most of the problems seem to be with the hubs, or the local Post Office. mfirth, you are not alone. Your V8 times may have been delivered to the wrong address for that matter. That has happened to us.

Got my March-April digital issue yesterday also. US mail has always been unpredictable. Most members who live outside the USA experience bigger problems. The digital issue has been a blessing to us.

Model51 and TomC750, thank you so much for the kind replies. With the Mar/Apr comming, I'll probably never see the Jan/Feb in paper form. Thanks again !

Mike - Never fear, your Jan-Feb issue will eventually arrive. Give it another month and if it doesn't come, let me know and I'll get a replacement issue sent to you.

Well, the March-April 2025 issue showed up in Minnesota today.

Doesn't answer the question where is the January-February issue, but there's hope that something (besides bills) made it through the Postal Service.

Guys, keep in mind the USPS is not a very efficient organization.
The V8 Times is sent out in a timely matter but at media rates, it can by postal regulations be held at any postal facility until it is deemed ready to be delivered.
I suppose it could be mailed at first class rate but most of you would not entertain the even so much as the thought of the additional costs.

A current, real-life experience? I mailed a letter, first class from the Milwaukee area to Indianapolis. It arrived yesterday. That took thirteen (13) days almost to the hour from the time I dropped it off the local PO to the time it was delivered 350 miles away.

Bottom line in my opinion?
Stop ragging at the club. They are doing their job.
Also, I hope for your sake there is more going on in your life to keep you busy vs. waiting at the mailbox for a magazine.
