Default wire

I'm going to put disc brakes on the front of my 53 customline. I'm going to have to move some wires to make room for the booster. The wires are the old cloth covered. A lot of it is rapped with tape . Are the wires under the hood all the same size? If so what size? Thanks

If you have wires that are already wrapped with tape, I suspect the insulation is bad and the wiring should be replaced. If it's the original wiring to the car it is long overdue to be replaced. The bundle of wires you refer to are various gauges of wire. Some are probably # 12, some #14 and some #16.
