Default Dear Expert

My generator pulley failed (shown). Bought the wrong one on eBay. The wrong one is a different taper, and the hole (on the yellow paper side) is too large on the wrong one. What is the right item and where can I buy it?

Most of the vendors carry new generator pulleys https://www.snydersantiqueauto.com/p...6052&cat=41710 or you can check with Steve at Bert's for used.

You just need to know the length of the shaft tapered end. There were long nose and short nose types. Ford used several styles of generators as well. Many of them ended up with the late Autolite type due to overhaul exchanges over the years.
