My new car!!!
1931, Coupe, restored in the early 1980s, and not been running for 10+ years. I got it running fairly quickly, and have been driving it around the farm. Now to get it road worthy!! |

1) Join a local club for more knowledge that is close by if you have questions/parts that you need. 2) get rid of the original fan if it has it!!!!!!!! It will literally kill you/hood/radiator-maybe all at once. Get an aluminum fan from Snyders or the 6 blade (looks wrong but it won't kill you). Mike

Congratulations! Isn’t a new (new to us) car a joyful thing!
A buddy from long ago grew up on a small subsistence farm in Greece. The nearest town was miles away by foot or donkey cart, and the entire family went to church there every Saturday (evidently Saturday was the Greek Eastern Orthodox tradition there). In his recollection from age 5 or 6, services lasted hour after hour after hour through the hot day. He remembered one Sunday in particular, one of the families bought an ancient Fiat sedan. It was the first vehicle (not drawn by a donkey) owned by a person they actually knew. After a special service which I imagine tacked on an extra 45 minutes to an hour to the regular mass, the priest led the congregation into the town square where the car sat. They surrounded it, shouting blessings and well wishes while throwing coins, little straw crosses, and little cross-shaped bread things (he didn’t know the word in English) in through the open windows. So congratulations on your new car! May it carry you and your family in safety and happiness for generations to come. OPAAAAA! (As they say in Greece).
