Want to install unit with turn, 4-way flasher, etc. features. Definitely not chrome, prefer black, column-mount. For 37 converted to 12V. I'd like a quality (name brand?) product. Thanks, guys!

I have the truck-lite 900 it’s a good heavy duty unit ment for a tractor trailer.
Runs your blinkers 4 ways and brake lights. You plumb your brake lights to it and then you dont need extra turn signal lights it flashes a brake light This model has been around for a long time and can be got at NAPA

I got my truck-lite 900 from a Kenworth truck parts distributor. Look for one in your area.

I've been looking at this one, supposedly it's a reproduction of the Signal Stat 900

I always liked the SXTS-B which was the Ford FoMoCo clamp on steering column switch for the 49-50 Fords from dealer. Made in my hometown and probably others back in the day for Ford from Essex wire and or RBM. The first time I ever saw one was on a 1946 Ford I bought in 1971,lots of people started using these after states like my home state Ohio required them in new cars in 1953 but not retro for older cars. They are getting hard to fine and pretty expensive on Ebay but clamp on any Ford column after Model A Fords I think. Earliest I have ever used was the 1937 column. Nice looking unit and not China made. They are listed in Green Bible as 6A-18840 and show for 42-48 Ford but will fit the early column. They are the same switch but different kit for 49-50 Fords. I also had one on a '53 F-100 same column diameter but Ford did have a better kit for them integrated into steering wheel hub.

I have a United Pacific 5007R with turn and 4 way on my '46 Coupe 6v + ground, but useable with 12V by using 12V indicator bulb and flasher. I know it is chrome, but I'm sure it could be painted black.
Available at Summit Racing. https://www.summitracing.com/parts/UPD-5007R |
