Default Genesis charger

This is the 2nd Genesis I've had that won't switch to 6V. About 2 years old and used about 3 times.
Any thoughts?

I had the same problem. I found I didn't hold the button down long enough for it to switch over. (almost 30 seconds).
Give it a try.

Sounds like it's time to make an Exodus from the Genesis!

I believe it's the genius. I have held it longer than 3 sec.

Mine works great. As stated, hold down for longer than three seconds. You can also recheck with a volt meter to verify.
