1936 driver side door latch
My spring was broken, have two, now one new one because I over loaded , as usual for me. Can’t determine what keeps the coiled spring in place behind the striker. I’ve googled pictures, dropped the spring back like it was but can’t tell what to lay it against behind the striker? Anybody? Help. Thanks, Greg. The picture is not my part. Just for example
