Default 29 Closed Cab Pickup Rear Window

Does anybody have a picture of one installed?

The glass looks small for the opening (new sheet metal). I'm debating on whether to use the trim piece, or just install it with glass setting rubber. Any feedback would be appreciated.

I would definately use the trim pieces. There are actually two trim pieces, one on the inside and one on the outside. They sandwich the glass in between, with the glass setting rubber. With as much vibration that can occur, I don't see the glass staying in there at all with out the trim pieces to hold it in.

Are you sure there is one on the outside? The pictures I've seen don't show any.

Also, the opening on the inside trim piece is just barely smaller than the glass.

There isn't one on the outside.

Ok, I have a 28 Pickup and I was sitting at work trying to visualize the back window. I was thinking there was a frame look on the outside of the cab box but I guess it is the stamping and then the nuts and bolts going through it, so you and Dudley are correct there is not a molding outside, sorry bout that. I am thinking that I still would definately install the inside molding, that really does hold it all together. Maybe you can have a glass shop either shave the glass down or cut a new one to fit in the back panel with the rubber around the window and the molding installed.
