Question Distributor oil port

Good morning,

I have a 37 sedan slantback with the original engine and trans. I noticed on the distributor a small oil port. Mr. Haney rebuilt the distributor several years and the car is running great. My question is how often, how much and what kind of oil should I be putting in that oli port on the distributor?

Thank you all for your help.

Zeke

A couple of drops of motor oil when you change the oil or twice a year, in the Spring and Fall, will be sufficient lubrication for the distributor bushing.
