I have an instrument light bracket for my 1934 pickup I have cleaned and painted but I can't see where it mounts. Can anyone advise please?

Mounts on the cowl of the body in the middle in alignment of the instruments.

No .It needs to be closer to the gauges as it lights them up. Where the dash attaches to the cowl in the body.Look there.

Thanks for the helpful advice - I was able to locate the correct position. And sorry, I thought I had replied to acknowledge this ages ago.
